Everything was excellent except the dry garlic spareribs were chunks of pork and not strips as they usually are and seemed stringy and not well coated. I'm sure this was a one-off as we have enjoyed them many times before.

I used to work in Burnaby on Gilmore Way at Canada Way when Burnaby Palace was at the old location near Smith Ave. I went there regularly for their Shanghai Fried Noodles. One of my favourite dishes. It’s more than 10 years I went back there today for the same. The noodles were less soft in texture, ie more chewy, and the sauce tasted different. I miss the good old flavours.
