Whenever I order, I experiment by taking at least one different dish. Sometimes, you discover something that satisfies, and sometimes you don't.
Tonight, we were underwhelmed by the egg foo yung and the pork dish. They were ok, but we've done better.

This is incredibly good Chinese food.
Lots of flavour and not greasy.

The food was delicious as always. The delivery was on time and the food was piping hot. Our family enjoy the variety of dishes that Burnaby Palace has to offer. Their website is easy to navigate and makes on-line ordering a breeze. When we do attend in person the staff is always helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Burnaby Palace for anyone craving good Chinese food and great service.

My favorite place is going downhill.
-Not enough and Less and less Beef in the Beef with Mushroom.
-Tough small dry chicken in the orange chicken. (At least this dish has plenty of chicken)
-The Fish with Veg was very good, but also not enough Fish.
I ordered 100 dollars of food but got no more than 2 people worth of protein. these dishes are mostly noodle and veg and very little meat or protein to be found any longer.
Also the Wonton soup.. the wontons are good, but the broth now just tastes like water and seasame oil. There is no chicken or beef or soup base flavor in the broth.
I am not sure what happened in the past few years, but this place used to be amazing. Whatever changes they made are not good. I may not order again and start searching for another. This has happened now last three times.
